Brand Story
Seattle’s Pioneer Square neighborhood set the stage for Quilt’s brand story with its historic cobblestone and brick and beam buildings. This special story took its inspiration from the Quilt Manufacturing Company that resided in this space for decades. The building itself is over 100 years old and holds memories, stories, and character that reside within its walls.
Brand Story
Seattle’s Pioneer Square neighborhood set the stage for Quilt’s brand story with its historic cobblestone and brick and beam buildings. This special story took its inspiration from the Quilt Manufacturing Company that resided in this space for decades. The building itself is over 100 years old and holds memories, stories, and character that reside within its walls.
Logo Development
The Seattle Quilt Building already had a story to tell, embracing what is was and was it was going to become was important when developing this logo. We wanted to ensure we highlighted the past historic aspects while creating a logo lockup that would stand the test of time and equally encapsulate the modern elements to come. Inset in the sidewalk at the front entry is the building’s name, drawing inspiration from that, we found a typeface reminiscent of the history that lies beneath your feet. Pairing it with a simple modern typeface and additional icons to round out the logo, it is both a timeless and contemporary representation of the historic Seattle Quilt Building.

By using print pieces and signage that reflect the Quilt Building as a historic landmark, we reinforced ourselves as a significant part of the community, past and future.
