Clark is the essence of efficient, clean, tiny home living. Situated in Seattle’s tech hot spot, South Lake Union, Clark offers residents a slice of lakeside ease and the ultimate commute. BT Creative took inspiration for the brand from the architectural elements featured in the surrounding new buildings and combined it with a modern minimal aesthetic to match the fresh feeling of the space.

BT Creative took inspiration for the brand from the architectural elements featured in the surrounding new buildings and combined it with a modern minimal aesthetic to match the fresh feeling of the space.
Brand Story
When we developed the brand story for Clark, the big question was, did we want to play up or play down the size of the unit? In the end, cel- ebrating tiny home living and being unclutter and untethered won. We focused language and design around simplicity by keep things clean with plenty of room to breathe.
Logo Development
Clark reflects modern simplicity through a sleek and crisp type-based logo. This brand identity needed to fit in with the tech hot spot of South Lake Union, so we used a san-serif font with a central focus to draw our target demographic in. To spice up the logo even more, we drew inspiration from the exterior of the building, which features a unique lattice fence and apply it to the center “A” to give the otherwise balanced and clean logo-type a focal point and character that could then be applied throughout the rest of the brand.

The other side of the brochure featured tips on tiny home living and talked about the building’s amenities and the unit features.
Given the foot traffic from all the tech companies in SLU, we also felt like interesting a-boards would bring something more elevated to the table to catch the attention of people walking. We went with a sturdier wooden frame for more structure, kept the design clean and modern, and finished off with a coated texture for weather protection.
