Commercial properties have been stealing the media spotlight recently, and not necessarily for happy reasons. At Blanton Turner, we’re 100% focused on creating success stories, not sad stories for our commercial property owners. We start by spending real time understanding what our owners want. What are their goals? What’s important to them? What kind of environment and experiences do they want to create for their tenants? For themselves?
We then take that information back to our super-secret strategy making computer. Joking. With an understanding of our clients’ vision we create a plan and then we get to work.

The Living Room was designed as a hub for the SLU community and is programmed with a constant flow of events and activities: arts, markets, live music, pop-ups, food and more.

Building commissioning and ongoing management. National Register Historic District, built in 1892, significantly damaged by fire in 2007. Purchased in 2019 and renovated to LEED Platinum standards in 2025, providing below-market office and community space for non-profit organizations in the area with a focus on organizations led by, and serving communities of color. Includes early learning center, event and meeting spaces, private offices, interpretative center. Significant art collection.

Ongoing management of the flagship property, family offices and four additional stores. Flagship is an Asian grocery store and community center including an Asian Food and Gift Market, retail shops, an 11-eatery Food Hall, a bank and a Japanese bookstore, family-owned since 1928. Supported tenants to keep business flowing during the store's 2020 major renovation. BT principals have managed the assets since prior to the founding of Blanton Turner.

Building commissioning and ongoing management. Newest part of Evolution Projects campus vision centered on outdoor lifestyle and culture, expanding on the Evo flagship store. Living Building Pilot Project. Corporate HQ for Brooks (running company). Retail includes Black Diamond climbing company. Bike and locker rooms for 113 bikes. Opened in 2024.

Predevelopment consulting, building commissioning and ongoing management of this mixed-use development which was the most sustainable small-scale mixed-use urban-infill project in the country when it was introduced. Built to be a case study to show the possibilities. Sustainable features include rainwater capture system, on-site agriculture, green roofs, solar, community kitchen. Opened in 2013.
