How does Blanton Turner support your interest and lifestyle?

I love doing audio production and video editing. I do it for my own musical interests on the side. Blanton Turner has allowed me to branch out to other apartment complexes to film and edit projects for the betterment of their spaces and for BT. The team is always accommodating to things like time off, and with answering any questions that I may have. Good support structure here.

Why did you choose Blanton Turner over other employers you were considering?

Blanton Turner had a strong, people focused outlook on their employees and residents. That was huge in my book. I have not met a bad apple in the company. Everyone is unique, personable, and hard working. Good stuff all around.

How has Blanton Turner helped you progress in your career?

Blanton Turner helped me reestablish my life here in Seattle. As a transplant from San Francisco, I had to start a new career in a new area. I found BT after getting my real estate license. I attempted to go the residential real estate route, but found that without a sphere of influence (and vehicle) it was increasingly hard to solidify a sale. Once I joined Blanton Turner, I knew it was the best move for me.

What does being part of the “BT Fun People” mean to you?

It means that I can have my own individual uniqueness. By adding the fun side, things like the fun titles, it allows for self-expression. I always glance at people’s titles whenever I get a new contact. It’s only a couple of words, but it shows a lot. Scheduling things like the Lease Beast gatherings, allows all of us that are in the same or similar boats to meet, mingle, and share tricks of the trade. A rising tide lifts all boats.

If you could tell one thing to anyone considering a job at BT, what would it be?

Learn as much as you can. Practice communication. Recognize what works and what doesn’t. No person is the same. Adapt.

What part of your job gives you the greatest sense of satisfaction?

Oh, when the people touring love the space. When they are so eager to apply that they do it right there! We have beautiful properties and it’s always an honor to show them. Also team happy hours!
