When you were job hunting, why did you choose BT over other employers you were considering?

I had previously worked for corporate management companies, and BT surprised me with their people-centric culture and non-traditional practices which made for much more effective marketing strategy at a building I was looking to move-in to. I liked their ads so much I had to read up on the company, and when I did I knew I had found a unique career opportunity.

What makes this job work well for you?

BT gives me the flexibility to be myself, and encourages me to maintain a healthy work/life balance. They allow me to manage my property in the way that works best for me, which also just so happens to be harmonious with the company’s culture and mission statement.

If you could tell one thing to anyone considering a job at BT, what would it be?

Careful, you’ll never want to work for another property management company again when you see how green the grass is at BT.

What does being part of the “BT Fun People” mean to you?

To me, it means that I’m a part of a group that shares the same interests as I do. We are all passionate, talented individuals that also have to work for a living, and we prefer our jobs to be rewarding and joyful. By having a team full of these personalities we can’t help but find new, effective and fun ways to reach our goals for success.

BT helped me by attentively recognizing my achievements and potential. They always identify buildings and clients that match my personality, to set me up for success and place me in a building that I vibe with.

What qualities do you look for in an employer and how has BT met or exceeded them?

When looking for an employer, I seek out companies trying new things and not scared to think outside the box. Management companies tend to have a liability-focused approach, and BT has gone outside the box to create a welcoming environment for residents and employees alike, in a way that doesn’t increase legal liabilities that are a major concern in our industry.
