Going into a property management job for 3 different properties and holding a vast amount of commercial spots aligned with them, it had me more nervous than I have ever been. Throughout the first couple of weeks of this position, I realized that the entire company is at your side at all times. Everyone knows everyone and you have such a vast amount of resources to resort to whenever you are in need.

I’ve never been with a company where you can reach out to anyone within the company for questions, concerns, or advice on your work life and personal life. The principals of the company don’t act or treat you like it is a corporation. They indulge in conversation with you as if they are your equals.

If you could tell one thing to anyone considering a job at BT, what would it be?

If you ever have the chance to work with us, please take it. It’s something you will never regret. Not to mention the benefits are amazing.

How has Blanton Turner helped you progress in your career?

As a property manager with BT, I’ve never been so connected to so many different resources. The ability to connect with such a vast amount of people that are willing to help and want to watch you grow and succeed is the most welcoming feeling ever. I’ve been in positions where I’ve just felt completely lost and unsure of my ability to overcome obstacles, but literally every single person that I’ve met thus far in this amazing company has been a blessing in my professional life and my personal life.

What qualities do you look for in an employer and how has BT met or exceeded them?

Being professional is the number one most important aspect to working for a company but the culture is what I really look for when working with a company. I want to be able to be free and be myself and BT has been the greatest culture that I’ve been apart of with a company. I genuinely feel at home with Blanton Turner. From the start, I got the idea that the company was going to have such a strong focus on the employees but I didn’t think it was vast to such a great amount. BT truly cares about every single employee and it’s a wonderful thing to see and feel.

What part of your job gives you the greatest sense of satisfaction?

Meeting new people every day and learning their journey from wherever they might be coming from, and watching the entire process of a prospect, turn a resident brings joy to my soul because they get to see a sliver of what great people are going to be making sure that they have the best possible apartment living experience possible.
